Learn how to make a selection of different types of roll sushi, including the basic hosomaki, ice cream cone shaped temaki, and variety of inside out ura-makis.
The class includes step-by-step demonstration on how to prepare sushi rice and tips on choosing the correct ingredients for sushi making. This course is hands-on so you can practice making your own rolls and create a bento box full of colourful sushi. There will be plenty of sushi for a full meal, so please arrive with an empty stomach!
Session will end with a brief tour at umai by Japan Centre, where the instructor will go through each ingredient used in class, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have on Japanese cooking.
*We can provide alternatives for vegetarians, please enquire.
Booking the whole session for a private corporate event or hen / stag day activity is also possible!
