Our Courses and Fees
We currently offer a range of beginner to intermediate level Japanese cookery lessons focusing on sushi and sashimi preparation.
We also offer tailor-made Japanese cooking courses for those looking to improve a specific element of their Japanese cooking technique, and are great at handling corporate events!
One-to-One Professional Course

A tailored made one-to-one lesson can be arranged for culinary professionals and advanced sushi students. Our chefs from TOKU Restaurant will customise a detailed lesson and provide you with step-by-step instructions. A great opportunity to learn the skills and trade secrets directly from a professional itamae chef.
The class is all hands-on and it can either be an one off session or a series of classes depending on your needs. Please let us know what you would like to achieve, and we can design the syllabus for you.
Available are the following four courses (please choose one):
- Sashimi (includes filleting sashimi & plate styling)
- Nigiri Sushi (includes sushi rice & sashimi preparation)
- Maki Sushi (includes sushi rice & sashimi preparation)
- Tempura (includes preparation and tempura frying)
We can also teach any dish we serve at TOKU restaurant (ie: yakitori, teriyaki, gyoza etc).
This lesson will take place at TOKU Restaurant, 16 Regent Street, London SW1Y 4PH between 9:00AM – 10:30AM only.
